Born in Yokohama in 1936. Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Chuo University. Studied under Shigeru Egami, a master of Japanese karate, and was recommended to the highest rank of 5th dan in 1963. In 1965, he formed the “Rakutenkai” in search of a new era of physical skills. From unimaginable training, he founded “Shintaido”, a human-developed body art. President of the International Shintaido Federation.
